Another look into Taiwan's amazing food

April 18, 2011

I'm feeling lazy today, and have little to write since this weekend was mostly laid back dinners and cups of coffee. Therefore what I have decided to share with you is pictures (some old, some new) of things that I have eaten. I hope you are hungry afterward.

Sesame Noodles: Sesame paste, green onions, bean sprouts, and noodles.

Thai Panini: Jalapeno Peppers, Pineapple, Papaya, Onions, Cheese, Chicken, Thai Peanut Sauce

Beef Noodles: Noodles, Beef, Carrots, Radishes, Green Onions, Broth...and other mysterious delicious spices! This is the main dish in Taiwan, and it is tasty!

Lunchbox: Fried Shrimp Rolls, Tofu and Veggie sides, Rice

Perfect Fix to Western Food Cravings: Baked Potato drowning in bacon and cheese with seasonings

Dumplings: Another big dish here, they come stuffed with various toppings and then can be fried, steamed, boiled, etc. These are pork and green onion filled and boiled. I eat them with soy sauce and chilies.

Lunchbox 2: Bacon, Shrimp Roll, Sausage, Tofu, Egg, various veggies...all over a bed of rice.
