Karratha is a growing town, mining has brought a lot of industry to the area, and so now housing and other areas are booming as well. While it didn't have a lot to offer in the way of tourism we did meet some of our contacts for a fun few days. Here are some of the venues we checked while there.
The Bali restaurant has a decent lunch deal. For $20 you can pick a dish and a beer, wine, or soft drink. Their spicy fettuccine was pretty tasty.

The Tambrey Tavern also has a great lunch menu. It's a larger tavern with two decks and pool tables. We went here two days for lunch. The first I had a great steak sandwich the second a Thai beef salad.

The Blanche Bar has a deal called "tight-ass Tuesdays" where you can get any of their tapas and vodka mixers for $5. We feasted on bruschetta, chorizo, marinated cheeses, shrimp, cinnamon sticks, sticky date pudding, and more.
Last was Soul, they had pretty standard breakfast options, but a nice decor and friendly environment. Their table numbers were my favorite part.
