Speed Eating in Singapore

· Singapore,Food,Alcohol Tastings,City Walks

I had one thing on my mind the entire flight, all the delicious things I was going to revisit as soon as I touched down. And so after arriving at Changi International, I made my way to the train station and rushed into town. I'm staying at the 5footwayinn on Pagoda street again. I stayed here last year and it's a great hostel, clean, with a nice breakfast nook. As soon as I checked in though, I was out the door to the Somerset MRT station, for the snacks I desired was located in the 313@Somerset shopping complex.

First, stop Marche Swiss restaurant and Natural bakery. Last year my friend and I enjoyed some of their glorious hash browns (served with sour cream and mushroom sauce.) Unfortunately for me, they were out of the mushrooms! I followed this with a Hungarian salami and mushroom pizza, and a root beer. Swiss food heaven for sure.

Next stop Maggie Moo in the B3 food court. They have a good variety of ice cream flavors, I got some red velvet cake.

Last stop, Malones Irish pub for a Strongbow on tap. I didn't leave the Somerset area obviously, but there's always my morning here still! More to come.
